I travel a lot, and love finding clothes so versatile that I can wear them anywhere. That's exactly what I found with Sherpa Adventure Gear's Jaya blouse. It's feminine, looks smart, has a flattering form fit with slit side-seams and curved hem, and it works well in a wide variety of scenarios. Best of all, it's made from all recycled materials!
On a recent trip to Yosemite, I hiked through the lush meadows of Yosemite Valley and then up the long and circuitous trail leading to the stunning Bridal Vail Falls. My backpack was heavy and full of camera gear, but my Jaya shirt was ideal for the trip. I was pleasantly surprised that I never felt any pack strap chaffing thanks to the soft and smooth fabric. Also, the cap sleeves protected my shoulders from the intense high elevation UV sun rays I was exposed to at 7,000 ft. Even though it was a hot July day when I made this trip, the moisture-wicking fabric and mesh-lined vent in the back of this Sherpa Adventure Gear shirt helped me stay cool and comfortable. I never get bogged down by the heat.
This blouse is too cute to reserve just for hiking ventures, though. I was pleased to find that it also travels well and didn't wrinkle in my suitcase. The Jaya Short Sleeve Shirt is definitely a great travel garment, and one that pairs well with dressy shorts, slacks, and skirts. One feature I especially like is a vertical off-center zippered breast pocket that's handy for stashing an ID and emergency cash.
All in all, I found that whether hiking through the mountains, going to a casual dinner in town with friends, or even attending Sunday morning church services, this top was an appropriate and attractive choice for all occasions.
I found this top to run small, so you may want to order a size larger for best fit.
