Coleman Mess Kit : Dinner for Two

Last time I went camping, I brought my kitchen pans! Luckily, I was car camping, but they still too up too much room in my car's small trunk.
Coleman's stainless steel mess kit for two packs into a compact package, with its own stuff sack. All I have to do to assemble the pans is remove the handles that hold the stacked pieces in place and retach them to work as handles. With a 1 1/4 qt saucepan (with lid) and 7" frying pan, I can make many of the same dinners I make at home. The kit also contains two small 6" plates and two 8 oz. cups/bowls (with collapsable handles). All I need to add is food and a fork.
Bottom Line: This handy kit is ideal for weekend camping trips and easy to store when not in use. Perfect for use with my Coleman Road Trip Grill.--E.D. (August '05)
